Overview

SAS310 offers the facility to design the metal pan suspended ceiling to suit any building module.

The lay-in tiles are supported from an exposed modular top hat grid featuring a continuous M6 thread. The aluminium grid can be either one-way or two-way. Perforations up to 65% open area enable them to be used in conjunction with void mounted energy efficient chilled beams. Metal pan ceiling tiles are available in a range of shapes and sizes to meet individual project requirements.

Access

The ceiling void is completely accessible by simply lifting with no need for tools.

Standard Module Sizes (mm)

SAS310 metal pan ceiling tiles can be made in mm increments to meet building module size. They are typically 1200 / 1350 / 1500 mm long and 300 / 400 / 600 mm wide.

  • Coating – Polyester powder coat
  • Colour – RAL 9010 (Pure White)

Special & Non-standard Finishes

  • Available in full range of standard RAL colours
  • Anti-Microbial Coating

Standard Tile Shape

Metal pac ceiling tiles are available in rectangular form to meet individual project requirements.



Perforation

Typically supplied with a large open area perforation for chilled beam applications.



Acoustic Treatment

Ultra-micro and micro perforated metal pan ceiling tiles can be manufactured in conjunction with several acoustic backings for both absorption and attenuation specifications.



Integration

Apertures can be formed during manufacturing for luminaires and other services, reducing on site wastage.

Grid Description

SAS310 tiles are supported directly from the soffit on a modular top hat exposed aluminium grid.

The visible main runners and cross tees feature an M6 thread form recess that facilitates the location and relocation of partition heads, signs and other lightweight fixtures by means of an M6 bolt, without causing damage to the ceiling plane.

Linear grid is locked in by concealed aluminium ‘T’ distancing splines that are installed at 1200 / 1500mm intervals. These tee sections provide bracing to the main runners.


Additional Loads

When supporting services such as downlights, speakers, detectors and other mechanical and electrical services, the maximum load applied to the metal pan ceiling tile must not exceed 7kg including spreader yokes if applicable.

The application of any load should always be considered. Please consult the SAS technical department for further advice.
