Five SAS International Australia projects recognised at this year’s NSW Architecture Awards.

The event promotes excellence in architecture in the NSW region, giving contenders an opportunity to showcase their best work.

SAS cultivates a design-led approach, combining manufacturing excellence with technical expertise. Our systems have been specifically created to offer the system designer the solutions they need to create award winning schemes.

Our NSW winning projects encompassed a variety of the award's categories: 

5 Martin Place, Sydney

  • Commercial Architecture Award
  • Greenway Award for Heritage Architecture
  • Lloyd Rees Award for Urban Design

UNSW, Materials Science & Engineering Building

  • Architecture award for Educational Architecture

UNSW, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering

  • Architecture award for Educational Architecture

Minter Ellison, Sydney

  • John Verge Award for Interior Architecture

University of Technology Sydney, Faculty of Engineering + Information Technology

  • Commendation for Interior Architecture
  • Commendation for Educational Architecture

 

Each of these projects are now in the running for the National Architecture Awards which will be held in November 2016.

A total of 179 projects entered this year’s awards in hope of making the shortlist of 79. After shortlisting, 60 projects were accredited for an award.
